Cleanliness is the highest priority during filling. Both disposable bottles (in other words new containers) and reusable bottles undergo a cleaning process before being filled. Usable plastic or glass bottles run through a bottle cleaning machine that processes containers with caustic water and fresh water in several steps. After that the bottles are cleaned on the outside (labels are removed) and any residue or dirt is removed from the inside. The cleaned bottles thus meet the highest microbiological requirements.
Special processes are used to treat and reuse waste water from the cleaning machines. In addition to saving considerable money, this also makes the system as environmentally friendly as possible.
