Monitoring of production steps is an especially important point when food is being processed. Empty containers are checked to ensure they are clean and undamaged before they are filled and full containers are checked after they are filled and closed to ensure they are fully filled, there are no foreign particles, the closure is seated correctly, the label is in the right place and the production batch is correctly printed on the product – to give just a few examples.
